Well, I finally made it home on Christmas Day at about 11:30am. I walked in the door and could see two bowls of cat food on the floor. But no cat in sight.
I looked everywhere and called him for about ten minutes to no avail. Finally, I looked under MB's bed and there he was. About an hour later he finally came out from under the bed.
And he hasn't shut up since. Or stopped trying to lay on me. It is almost like living with TS's cat Angel (from my time in California). This morning I woke up and his little paw was curled around my hand. The cat was holding my hand as I slept. Ugh. I hate cats.
After finding the cat, I made some mac & cheese and then went to bed for most of the day. I woke up at 8pm when I couldn't breathe because the cat was on my chest. It was an interesting Christmas.
I spent the rest of the evening watching a little gem of a movie called EdTV. A classic and underrated movie. Watch it again with a box of tissues. If you don't cry watching Jenna Elfman's character watch Mathew McConahey's character get it on with Elizabeth Hurley, then you are dead inside. Dead!
If you want to watch a really good moive - an awesome movie - and I mean this with no sarcasm, go see Slumdog Millionaire. Seriously the best movie I watched this year. Even RF managed to stay awake and engaged during the whole movie. And RF loves nothing more than paying $10 for a nap.
