Today was such a long day. I think all days at work are now "long" by any standards. But Tuesdays are always horrendous. I moved the same table around three times, from one end of the store to another.
It was cold enough to wear a scarf today. I was so excited. I also wore the sweater my mammer-jam gave me for my B-day. And I ate a pumpkin muffin. If that doesn't say fall...I don't know what does.
Have not done anything exciting in quite some time. My planned Seattle trip was canceled due to CJ getting a job. I can't begrudge her work...unemployment sucks! I am hoping to get out to Boston before too long. Everyone at work is asking for time off right now because they have to dump their hours before January but we also can't really take time off after Thanksgiving. (For the record, I don't have any time off. Maybe two days worth of PTO).
I have a strange desire to go home and make some homemade soup. But I'm too sleepy. I know as soon as I walk in the door, I will nap on the couch. That is the price you pay for 3 hours of sleep and 3:00am wakeup call.
