Perhaps

My plans for the summer:

1. Work
2. Go to Spokane July 17 for about 4 days.
3. Go to Montana in August for about 5 days.
4. Try not to get upset about the heat.
5. Read too much.

Today I went to Macy's and bought two pairs of pants for $40.00. They were both more than 50% off. While I was shopping, I kept thinking "Why does it cost so much!"

After spending the last 6 months not buying much (three months of which was not buying ANYTHING), I cannot stomach spending money on anything. Which is good because I have zero dollars. But knowing now that I have zero dollars, I wonder how I ever afforded the things I used to do/buy. Granted, I do make a lot less now than I used to.

Last night was the final night of the RW send-off. The girls were afraid they were going to get knifed at the Black Cat so we walked over to the Skybox instead. This was a little sad. I wanted to play some shuffleboard. And maybe I wanted to get knifed. (For the record, the Black Cat is not the worst bar I have ever been in. Nor is it the dive-iest. That award is tie between Sporty's in Stevensville and Annie's in Astoria).

But it doesn't matter because I still had a lot of fun drinking my fake PBR.

"Do you have PBR?" I asked.
"No."
"Okay, I'll have a Stella."
"How do you go from a PBR to a Stella?" asked AA.
"I'm a classy lady, that's how," I told him.

This morning we got up early to go to Beaverton Farmer's Market where I bought some basil, asparagus and carrots.

I have big plans for the afternoon.

1. Wash new jeans.
2. Nap
3. Shower
4. Work all evening.
5. Read not enough.

  1. Annie's is great. I might like to have my bachelor party there...maybe. If I do, would you come?

  2. Only if you invite a certain someone from Arizona. A certain friend of mine.
